Ryan Thomas, DDS, Your San Tan Family Dentist
Dr. Ryan C. Thomas has more than 16 years of dentistry experience. Dr. Thomas practiced in New Hampshire before deciding to move to Texas to start his own dental practice. After numerous successful years, he decided to do it again, and moved his family to Arizona to open San Tan Family Dentistry. Dr. Thomas chose Arizona in order to enjoy the beautiful Arizona landscape and all the outdoor adventures it has to offer.
Dr. Thomas’ commitment to excellent dental care starts with his patients. He invests in the latest technologies available to deliver attentive, compassionate, and comprehensive care for all ages. Dr. Thomas values building a rapport with his patients that is grounded in respect and trust. He teaches them everything they need to know in order to feel empowered to make the oral health care decisions that are right for them.
Ever ready with his smile and casual manner, Dr. Thomas brings his authentically warm and fun-loving personality to his relationships with his patients, so much so that many of his patient families become his personal friends. You might even see them together enjoying some of the outdoor activities Dr. Thomas loves – hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking, just to name a few! He and his wife, Cindy, have three children and are active in their church and the San Tan Valley community.
Education
Ryan C Thomas, DDS is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where he majored in the Russian Language. He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2005 and ever since, has committed to furthering his high-level dental education to best serve his patients. He has advanced level training with Progressive Orthodontics, early intervention orthodontics for children, as well as sleep apnea and airway evaluation.
Mandy, Lead Dental Assistant
Mandy came to San Tan Family Dentistry with over 8 years of dental assistant experience. Before moving to Arizona from Wisconsin, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and was formerly an elementary school teacher. She earned her Dental Assistant degree in Arizona and is x-ray and coronal polish certified. She has been the lead dental assistant for most of her time in the dental field and is right by Dr. Thomas’ side with all patients. Away from the office, she enjoys crafting and spending time with her husband and two children
Holly, Orthodontic Dental Assistant
Holly came to San Tan Family Dentistry with over 8 years of orthodontic assistant experience. She specializes in traditional braces and Invisalign, and assists on any ortho case. Holly was recently married, and together they have three dogs, Rylie, Harmony, and Lucy. She loves exploring the outdoors and traveling with her family.
Kristina, Office Manager
Kristina came to San Tan Family dentistry with many years in the dental profession, and is highly experienced in insurance and benefits coordinating, patient care, and overall office management. She has earned her Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and enjoys learning something new every day. Her favorite part of dentistry is creating long-term connections with her patients and being involved in changing their lives. She is an Arizona native and loves being outdoors with her husband and four children. When she is not at the office, Kristina enjoys reading, playing softball and volleyball, and especially being her kids’ #1 cheerleader for their various activities.
